Buenos Aires, November 27 (NA) – The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) officially announced this Thursday an increase of 2.34% in benefits for December for retirees, pensioners, and family allowance amounts, along with the limits and income ranges for the family group. The update of the values that will be effective in the last month of the year is in line with the October inflation data, and was formalized through Resolutions 359 and 361/2025 published in the Official Gazette, to which the Argentine News Agency had access. The social security agency established in the official text that "the minimum guaranteed pension effective from December 2025 will be $340,879.59". While the maximum, as of next month, will be $2,293,796.92. As has been happening for over a year, those receiving the minimum will get a bonus of $70,000, and in addition, this month all pensions will also receive the aguinaldo (year-end bonus), so the lowest pensions will increase from $403,150 to $581,319. Minimum Pension: $340,879.59 + $70,000 bonus + aguinaldo = $581,319.38 Maximum Pension: $2,293,796.92 + aguinaldo = $3,440,695.38 In the official document, signed by the head of ANSES, Fernando Bearzi, the minimum and maximum taxable bases were also set at $114,808.17 and $3,731,212.01, respectively, as of the accrued period for December 2025. At the same time, the agency determined that the amount of the Universal Basic Allowance (PBU), applicable as of next month, will be $155,936.86. While the amount for the Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) was set at $272,703.67. With the $70,000 bonus and the aguinaldo, the PUAM will amount to $479,055. Family Allowances On the other hand, with the official increase, holders of universal allowances for social protection will now receive: Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and Pregnancy Allowance: $122,492 (general value) AUH and Pregnancy - Zone I (La Pampa, Chubut, Neuquén, Río Negro, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands and the Partido de Patagones, in the province of Buenos Aires): $159,240 AUH and Prenatal Family Allowance for workers in the formal sector - General value Family Income (IGF) does not exceed $948,361: $61,252 will be paid per child. IGF higher than $948,361 and up to $1,390,864: $41,316 will be paid per child. IGF higher than $1,390,864 and up to $1,605,800: $24,990 will be received per child. IGF higher than $1,605,800 and up to $5,022,048: $12,892 will be paid per child. Allowance for a Child with a Disability - General value Family Income (IGF) does not exceed $948,361: $199,434 will be paid per child. IGF higher than $948,361 and up to $1,390,864: $141,086 will be paid per child. IGF higher than $1,390,864: $89,043 will be received per child. Monotributo In the case of Monotributo taxpayers, the amount of family allowances for children and prenatal care varies by category: Categories A: $61,252 Category B: $41,316 Category C: $24,990 Categories D, E, F, G: $12,892 As for the one-time allowances that ANSES pays, such as those for Marriage, Birth, and Adoption, as of next month, they will grant the following amounts: Birth: $71,396 Adoption: $426,877 Marriage: $106,904 Annual School Allowance: $42,039 (general value) The increase that updates the detailed amounts also applies to war veterans, holders of the Argentine integrated social security system, and those receiving unemployment benefits, among other economic assistance programs. In Article 4 of the regulation, it was clarified that "the receipt of an income higher than $2,511,024 by one of the members of the family group excludes said group from receiving family allowances, even if the sum of their income does not exceed the maximum income limit established".
